Artists Ann Rosenthal and Stephen Moore announce the new internet domain for their ten year collaboration, INFINITY CITY.

Concurrent with the start-up of the third phase of INFINITY CITY, "2001", a new URL has been activated; viewers can now reach this award-winning web site at:

http://www.infcty.net

An exhibition in electronic format, INFINITY CITY is composed of three broadly-drawn elements:

= 2001 = milestones of America's nuclear legacy with anniversaries that occur in this millenial year; each anniversary is marked by an e-mail distribution, which is then posted to the INFINITY CITY website

= SHADOW = considers the lingering effects of the Manhattan Project, and was originally commissioned by the Bellevue (WA) Art Museum for their 1997 exhibition "Nuclear Cities."

= ANNIVERSARY = commemorates the 50th anniversary of the detonation of "Gadget", the world's first nuclear device; Anniversary was on view at the Maryhill Museum of Art, near the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, at the time of Gadget's fiftieth birthday

INFINTY CITY is also available for exhibition in gallery and museum installations, and a bookwork is in progress.
